No Odd-even Policy Over Flooding Today

The odd-even license plate policy will not be enforced temporarily in Jakarta over flooding at a number of locations in Jakarta due to extreme rain since morning.

No odd-even traffic policy today

According to Syahfrin Liputo, Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, this policy would be re-implemented tomorrow, depending on the conditions in the field.

"No odd-even traffic policy today," he expressed, Tuesday (2/25).

The agency also had to stop the school bus operation, which aims for mutual security. "The buses have been evacuated to a safer place now," he explained.

In addition, all personnel have been mobilized to carry out traffic engineering on roads around the flood-stricken areas.

"We also have trucks to help and evacuate citizens from flooded-roads, including transporting their motorcycles," he asserted.
